Respecting Owners and other Anglers.
1. The use of prohibited recreational drugs at Blyton Lodges Pond is forbidden
2. Whilst the moderate drinking of alcohol is acceptable,anglers Must be at all times,when fishing be capable of responding to bite alarms and landing fish safety.
3. Non fishing guests by prior arrangement only
4. Please remain in area surrounding the pond and do not enter in front of lakeside lodge
5. No fishing matches
6. Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult
7. All dogs to be kept on a lead at all times
Respecting the pond
1. All nets to be dipped 20 mins prior to use or brought on site completely dry
2. Strictly no open fires,disposable barbecues must not be placed directly on the ground. Concrete blocks are available on request.
Respecting each other
1. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated
2. No roaming, fishing is from one peg for each angler
3. Maximum of two rods per angler
4. The volume of any personal electronic devices should be kept to a level that does not disturb other pond / lodge users – if others can hear,they’re to loud
Respecting Cleanliness
1. All litter ( including cigarette ends ) to be removed from site and not left on banks, grassed areas ,approach roads
2. All excess baits to be removed from site, not put in pond or left on the bank
Respecting The Fish
1. Barbless hooks only
2. No braided main lines including on marker and spod rods
3. Braided rigs must not exceed 9” in length
4. No lead core leaders
5. No keep nets
6. All fish to be returned to water as soon as possible
7. Carp care kits to be used as necessary
8. Pegs must be attended when rods are in the water
9. Minimum 8lb line
10. Unhooking mats to be used
